THE PROCESS OF WRITING AND DRAWING ANIMUS

ANIMUS was drawn and inked by hand on Bristol paper, in the long tradition of Japanese manga, American comics and European bandes dessinées.

PENCILLING AND INKING

The 224 pages of ANIMUS were very loosely drawn in pencil then inked with micropens, dipping pens and India ink.

FINISHED ART

The finishes for ANIMUS were drawn from February 2016 to May 2017 by Antoine Revoy (without assistants, except for the house cat!).
